Take Your Child to the Library Day

Come find out what your library has to offer you and your children.

9:00 am -Noon  Celebrate!   Book drawings, “Guess How Many?” contest, decorate a heart with your favorite book and make your own bookmarks. All ages Drop-in

10:00 am A Cozy Winter Day at the Library Folksinger and storyteller, Tim Van Egmond will tell tales and song songs to celebrate the winter season. Van Egmond will accompany himself on a wide variety of traditional instruments, including dulcimers, guitar, and limberjack (a dancing wooden puppet that taps out a rhythm on a paddle board) Sponsored by Enfield Culture and Arts Commission. Design a picture that glows. Incorporate LED lights to make your design shine. You bring the imagination and we will provide the rest. Learn about electricity, conductivity and circuits while creating a one of a kind piece of art. Ages 7 and up. Registration required.

Join us for the opening reception of our gallery of handmade trees.  Enjoy a musical performance and a visit from Jingles, Santa’s favorite elf while you browse the trees.  Pick up your Winter Playcation Kit from Enfield Plays On and enjoy the playful idea of the day over winter vacation.
