The Rotary Club of Enfield is honoring Enfield’s veterans by sponsoring military tribute banners that will be displayed in Higgins Park, the Town Green, Freshwater Walkway, North Main Street and Hazardville between Memorial Day and Veterans Day in 2026 and 2027. The Enfield Public Library partnered with Enfield Rotary to preserve digital versions of these banners as well as biographical information about each veteran.

Keith James Mylott Gil War Veteran A1C US Air Force Keith started his career in The CT Air National Guard in is senior year of high school in 2007 as a Security Police Officer. Although short his service meant the world to him. He passed away in April 25 while in Security Police Tech school down at Lackland AFB San Antonio TX of a rare virus. Keith’s life long dream was to become a CT State Trooper. He was part of the CT State Troopers Explorer Program attending many summer programs. Keith died doing what he loved to do.
