The Rotary Club of Enfield is honoring Enfield’s veterans by sponsoring military tribute banners that will be displayed in Higgins Park, the Town Green, Freshwater Walkway, North Main Street and Hazardville between Memorial Day and Veterans Day in 2026 and 2027. The Enfield Public Library partnered with Enfield Rotary to preserve digital versions of these banners as well as biographical information about each veteran.
Todd M. Donaghy
United States marine air force 2020-2024
senior airman
Senior Airman Todd Donaghy served honorably in the United States Air Force from 2020 to 2024, beginning his military journey shortly after graduating high school during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. His graduation was held as a drive-through ceremony, and pandemic restrictions also prevented family and friends from attending his Basic Military Training (BMT) graduation in person. Undeterred, Todd demonstrated resilience and commitment from the outset of his career. Following BMT, he attended technical training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, where he specialized in Ground Transportation, laying the foundation for his operational contributions to the Air Force.
Upon completion of his training, Senior Airman Donaghy was stationed in Spangdahlem, Germany, where he quickly distinguished himself through strong leadership and reliability. He supported a wide range of critical missions, including top-secret transport operations and assignments to neighboring countries, while also serving as a consistent presence on the flight line and assisting with visits involving distinguished dignitaries. During this time, he also contributed to the Afghanistan Movement and had opportunities to travel throughout Europe, including Denmark, the Netherlands, and Paris. He later continued his service in Osan, South Korea, further expanding his global experience. Throughout his enlistment, Todd embraced diverse cultures, built lasting relationships, and upheld the Air Force core values. His dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic continue to guide him in his post-military career.
